Spice Family Scholarship
History
In all facets of society, it’s important to have persons in authority who conduct themselves in an ethical, principle centred way. Certainly, in recent years, those qualities have not always been evident. The Spice Family believes that young people who understand and apply those principles will become the kinds of citizens and, indeed leaders, that will be the envy of societies around the world. Altruistic? Perhaps. Necessary? Absolutely!
Criteria
- Be a grade 9, 10, 11 or 12 student attending Riverview
Special Considerations
- Extra-curricular involvement
- Community involvement
Required Documentation
- 1 letter of recommendation from the principal or a teacher that speaks to your involvement at the school and/or in the wider community.
- 1 letter of recommendation from a community leader that speaks to your involvement at in the community.
- A short essay explaining your understanding of principle centred leadership and ethically focused decision making.
