Jana Polupski Memorial Scholarship
History
Jana Polupski was an educator who was loved by her students, family, and colleagues. As a teacher, mentor, coach, and role model, Jana has positively impacted the lives of many students and their parents through her sincere dedication and caring ways. She saw kids not just as students, but as whole people with challenges, dreams, and potential. Her deep compassion, unwavering belief, and inspirational mentorship played a huge role in helping each of her students feel known, valued, and capable.
Criteria
Must be a graduating student, from Peacock Collegiate, who is attending post-secondary and has overcome adversity.
Special Considerations
There are no special considerations for this scholarship
Required Documentation
- Proof of acceptance into post-secondary programming
- A letter of recommendation from a coach, teacher, or other person who has had a significant influence on the applicant’s development
