Lieutenant Governor Visits Mossbank School |
|
Her Honour, Lieutenant Governor Vaughn Solomon Schofield joined Mossbank School students for an assembly where she informed them of the three "C's" of her duties as Lieutenant Governor for the Province of Saskatchewan: constitutional, ceremonial, and celebration. Her Honour presented Legion certificates to four students who had won at Zone level. The grades one to six students entertained with two songs, "Michael Row the Boat Ashore" and "Wacky Do Re Me". The Lieutenant Governor left a gift for each student to commemorate her visit. Before leaving the school, Her Honour visited a few classrooms and answered questions. |

Brian Jordison
It is with great sadness that the staff and students of Mossbank School give our condolences to the Jordison Family at the passing of Brian last week. Brian was one of our bus drivers, picking up students from the Crane Valley area and other families on the way to Mossbank. We especially offer his wife, Terry, our sympathies for her loss, as she is also one of our bus drivers, and we look forward to the day when she can continue her route. Brian was a fun-loving person who enjoyed the kids and especially took pride in his own. Our thoughts are with the family, friends, and students who were part of Brian’s life. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed.
