Chef Smith made a gastronomic feast of bacon, eggs, pancakes, juice and coffee to welcome back his staff. We really enjoyed and appreciated this delicious breakfast and trust that it will become a regular event! |

The grade 7/8 Social Studies class, under the guidance of Mrs. Lawrence, has managed to raise enough funds to complete our well in India. The well has been dug in the village of Konapuram, in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is used daily by more than 200 people. In addition to providing water, the well will also prevent sickness, improve hygiene and reduce the workload of women. Thank you so much to all of you who have supported our fundraising projects. You, too, have made a difference in the world!
We would like to share this picture of our well with you.

The SRC hosted a pet day on June 1st. Many students brought their pets to school for the afternoon to attend classes with them. At 1:00, all the pets had a chance to meet each other and the students and staff of Mossbank school in the school gym. Pets included toy animals, rocks, a lady bug, a bearded lizard, a chinchilla, a ferret, gerbils, a hamster, a chicken, bunnies, cats, and dogs. Everyone was very well behaved! Thanks Mrs. Lawrence and the SRC for giving us this fun opportunity! |

Mossbank students and staff worked together to clean up our town for Earth Day on April 22nd. Let's continue to work together to keep it clean by putting garbage in the trash cans. We can also help by using the town's recycling centre for plastic, tin cans, glass, and paper. Try to reduce the amount of waste you produce by choosing items with less packaging and using reusable bags for shopping. Let's continue to work together to keep our community and planet clean every day! |
