Prairie South Schools follow the Core Curriculum as outlined by the Ministry of Education.

Students at the elementary and middle years level, receive instruction in Arts Education, English Language Arts, Health, Mathematics, Physical Education, Science and Social Studies.

At the secondary (high school) level, typical course offerings include English Language Arts, History, Mathematics, Calculus, Art, Social Studies, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Wellness, Physical Education and Practical and Applied Arts (formerly Industrial Arts and Home Economics).

Specific program offerings vary by school and some schools offer a much wider array than those listed, including opportunities for extra-curricular involvement in athletic, cultural and artistic activities.

We offer a variety of supports for student learning, and have recently began to rollout a new Comprehensive Learning Framework.
