Exciting News For Next Year! |

The 2013/2014 school year will bring some exciting changes to Westmount School!
-The YMCA will be opening a daycare in our school. Please contact Jeff Fox at the Moose Jaw YMCA for more information.
- Our grade 7/8 students will be remaining at Westmount for the full day. Our students will still have the opportunity to participate in the hockey program at RVCI. They will also still get to attend the Practical and Applied Arts program at RVCI. This will see students attending RVCI one afternoon a week in the second half of the school year.
- Westmount will be providing supervision of students starting at 7:30am and continuing until 430pm. We are hoping that this will help working parents to more easily coordinate their busy lives.

Our next SCC meeting will take place on June 18 at 4pm in the library. All parents are welcome.
We have two open positions on our SCC and are always looking for parents and community members that are looking to take an active role in the education of the children of Westmount School. |

YMCA Daycare Coming to Westmount |
|
It's official! Prairie South Schools and the YMCA have partnered to create a daycare space within Westmount School. This daycare will provide much-needed daycare spaces for our neighbourhood. Construction will take place very soon and continue through the summer. Construction will not interfere with our regular classes and will be completed before the 2013/2014 school year begins in the fall. This daycare will include many spaces for school age students. Please contact Jeff Fox at the YMCA for more information and/or to get on the list for a spot! |
