South Hill Schools Staff's Slow Pitch Game |

On the evening of Friday, August 27 the (Moose Jaw) South Hill Schools' Instructional Team--- Administrators, Teachers and Support Staff, came together for a fun night of slow pitch and socializing to build relationships and supports. The game itself saw the Staffs of Westmount and John Chisholm vs. Empire and Riverview Collegiate. We were happy to have two Superintendents attend, Lori Meyer (Student Support Services) who was the offical scorekeeper, and Ryan Boughen (Human Resources) who was the official umpire. Oh, you are probably wondering who won? Well, based on the laughter and collegiality on display, the answer is simple--- everyone! |

 Mrs. Cassidy, a teacher at Westmount school and recent award winner had the opportunity to attend the International Society for Technology in Education in Denver Colorado. Along with two other primary teachers from Australia and New Hampshire, she presented a session called:

Please be reminded of our School's time changes and Grades 7 & 8 PM changes for 2010-2011:
AM entry Bell @ 8:55 AM....AM recess @10:30 AM....Lunch from 12:15- 1:10 PM....PM recess @ 2:15 PM....dismissal @ 3:30 PM (60% Instructional time in AM/40 % in PM).
Also reminder to Grade 7 & 8 Students all PM Classes are at RVCI with Empire's Grade 7 & 8 Students----Busses load at Westmount at 1 PM....period 5 is from 1:10-2:10 PM/period 6 is from 2:15-3:15 PM and busses leave RVCI for trip back to Westmount at 3:20 PM....
