SCC School Beautification Work Bee |

The Westmount SCC is planning a school beautification work bee on Saturday, May 26th from 9:00am to 11:00am. If you are interested in helping please meet at the front door on Saturday. If you have any questions please contact the main office 694-5999. |

On Wednesday Ms. Ozog's grade 2/3 classroom was completing a "readers theater" activity of reading Charlotte's Web. Pictured below are several of the students with their props during their first public performance.

On Friday, May 11th Westmount students participated in the 11th annual Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser. During the ten years Westmount has raised more than $70,000 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Thank you students and parents for your continued support!

On Monday, May 7th Westmount students had a special presentation by the Crimson String Quartet. The Quartet was founded in 2009 by four musicians who share a love for music of all kinds. They have travelled to over ten countries sharing their appreciation for classical music with their audiences.  |

 This week is safety patrol week. During an assembly on Thursday all safety patrollers were recognized by the staff and students for their efforts to keep all students safe on the streets around Westmount. Thank you for volunteering this year! Westmount has a large safety patrol crew with nearly 30 student volunteers.
