Congratulations to our gold, silver, and bronze medals winners in our grade six 2010 Reading Olympics!
The bronze medal winner from Mrs. Arndt’s class was Machaela W. who read 1212 minutes, the silver medal winner was Shaelyn K. who read for 1232 minutes, and the gold medal winner was Emily R. who surpassed the 2010 read goal by reading 2895 minutes!
The bronze medal winner from Mrs. Rattee’s class was Amanda L. with 740 minutes, the silver winner Amanda R. read for 1090 minutes, and the gold winner was Koralyn K. who read for 3234!
Thank you to all students who participated by reading and logging minutes! Those students are invited to a free lunch thanks to Julie Pitts the owner/operator of Quiznos here in Moose Jaw. A special thank you to Quiznos for also providing all the prizes for our medal winners!

*Thursday, March 11-- Grades 7 & 8 walk to and from Riverview Collegiate with their Staff for Saskatchewan Wildlife Expo (9:15- 3PM)
*Thursday, March 11-- Grade 8's are to have Grade 9 High School registration forms back to Westmount and handed in to Office/Teachers
*Monday, March 29-- Term II Report Cards sent home
*Thursday, April 1-- Student/Parent/Teacher Conferences (No Classes)--Interviews also will be scheduled for Wednesday, March 31 evening-- notes sent home in Mid March explaining, etc.
*Friday, April 2-- Good Friday Holiday (School closed)
*Monday, April 5- Friday, April 9--- Spring/Easter Break (School closed)
