Schools in Prairie South School Division follow the Core Curriculum as outlined by the Ministry of Education.

At the elementary and middle years level, students receive instruction in Arts Education, English Language Arts, Health, Mathematics, Physical Education, Science and Social Studies.

At the secondary (high school) level, typical course offerings include English Language Arts, History,Mathematics, Calculus, Art, Social Studies, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Wellness, Physical Education and Practical and Applied Arts (formerly Industrial Arts and Home Economics).

Specific program offerings vary by school and some schools offer a much wider array than those listed.

The division offers a variety of supports for student learning, as well as opportunities for extra-curricular involvement in athletic, cultural and artistic activities.
