Over the past five weeks Constable Scharf and Constable Duckworth from Assiniboia RCMP have been in the Grade 5/6 Health classroom teaching students about drug and alcohol resistance. The D.A.R.E (Drugs and Alcohol Resistance Education) program informed students about drugs and alcohol and the affects it can have on our lives and the ones around us. This program was very beneficial for students when getting students to realize the possible pressures they may face regarding these substances, as well as, the importance of their decisions if or when being exposed to drugs and alcohol. The grade 5/6 students would like to thank Constable Scharf and Constable Duckworth for sharing their time, advice and experiences with us around resisting drugs and alcohol. Thank You!
