Grade 5 News
Monday, 07 January 2013 16:47
December was busy in Miss Johnson's Grade 5 class. We had a Science experiment focusing on circulatory and respiratory systems. We have been learning about the heart and lungs and how they work together. Miss Johnson brought in cow, bison, and pork hearts, and even cow lungs for the class to see them, "up close and personal!" They had pictures to compare to real thing. Microscopes were set up for students to cut pieces of the heart and lungs to look under the microscope. It was a great experience for the kids and some really enjoyed it, but others thought it was a bit gross! :)
December 13th, Christmas was in the air as the class made reindeers! They used wooden spoons to create their, "Rudolph" and had lots of fun decorating him/her. Miss Johnson was very impressed with the creativity that was shown from everyone.

Great Eight Cards
Thursday, 29 November 2012 19:24
It all started with an art project. Simple enough; it was just a sky collage featuring white birch trees. The thing is, they turned out so well, we knew we had to give the public a chance to own some of our one of a kind artwork! So....
The Grade Eights of Lindale have converted their art project into original note cards. We are selling these special cards from now until December 7th. You will receive 10 blank cards and envelopes for $15. Check out the link to see examples of our artwork in full colour.
Come out tonight at 4:00 pm to Peacock to cheer on the Boys A and Girls A volleyball teams as they battle for Bronze. The boys team is playing Sunningdale and the girls team is playing Prince Arthur. Good luck teams!
Lindale School is a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school with an enrolment of about 291 students. Most of our students come from rural areas around Moose Jaw. Prairie South has a total of eight elementary schools in Moose Jaw.
