On Thursday, November 10th, members of the Pinto Creek Legion joined us at KCS for our annual Remembrance Day Service. It started at 11 a.m. There was singing from both the KCS senior choir and the K – 6 elementary choir. Corporal Trevor
Foss spoke about his experiences in Afghanistan. Megan N. recited “In Flanders Fields”, Melissa T. recited “An Honoured Son”, and the winners of the Legion Essays, Poems and Posters contest were announced. Then there was the laying of the
wreaths by the SRC and Elementary Government. It was a beautiful service.
