Please note the following important items:
- Be sure to set time aside to prepare for midterms and final exams.
- Pay careful attention to the dates, times, and rooms for each of the exams. (See the exam schedule here.)
- You have between 1 and 2.5 hours to write your exam.
- Bring necessary items with you when you come to write your test. (pens, pencils, eraser, ruler, calculator and/or dictionary if specified)
- Grade 12 students writing departmental exams must be in the appropriate classroom 15 minutes before the scheduled writing time.
- If you are writing a Departmental exam you should be aware that if weather issues cause you to miss the exam you will have to write during the next available session, which is in March. Therefore we encourage you to make arrangements to be at school or possibly stay in town should weather problems arise on that day.
- No electronic devices (cell phones, iPods, etc.) will be allowed during exams.
- If the exam you are writing is a final exam, please return textbooks, novels, etc. when coming to write your exam. Please be sure to return these as you will be otherwise charged for these at the end of the year.
- Although you may not be writing a test, please keep quiet in the hallways as other students may still be writing in classrooms.
Thank you.
