Student Registration

Welcome to Prairie South Schools! 

Classes for students in Prairie South can start as early as 3 years old in Prekindergarten, and continue all the way to Grade 12. Our schools are welcoming and inclusive, and offer a variety of programs and services. 

The school year starts after the September long weekend and ends in June. Registration for Elementary and High School is held in late August at schools. If you need to register during the school year, please contact the school you will be attending. ID is required to register, please bring your birth certificate and Saskatchewan health card.

Prekindergarten:

  • Children ages 3 and 4 are eligible (must be 3 years of age as of school start up)
  • Pre-registration is held in March – please contact your local school

Kindergarten:

  • Students who are 5 years of age by December 31 are eligible (in the year of school start up)
  • Pre-registration is held in March – please contact your local school

Grade 9 and High School:

  • Pre-registration for Grade 9 is held in March 

Our Moose Jaw High Schools include grades 9 through 12. School tours and a parent information night is being held Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 5:30pm to 9:00pm.  The event is for all grade 8 students and their parents/guardians, and will provide information to assist your decision in high school registration.  If you have questions, please contact your local school or A.
