Prairie South Schools are 1,400 staff and 6,700 students (from 19 rural and urban communities) learning together across 32,747 square kilometers (12,643 sq. miles) of southern Saskatchewan.

We are committed to our students, staff, stakeholders and partners. Our focus is our students and schools, and we set high expectations to deliver a quality learning experience – including updating our facilities.

In 2011 we created a new Organizational Structure and Mission-Vision Core Values that includes an update to our logo and brand.

Our Governance and Stakeholders

The stakeholders of Prairie South include board members (trustees), administrators, teachers, staff members, School Community Councils (SCCs)/parents, and members of the community.

The leadership of Prairie South is a shared responsibility between the Board of Education, the Director of Education, senior administration, management, and school administrators. The Board consists of 10 elected members – five rural trustees and five trustees elected at large from the City of Moose Jaw.
