Going way back to the beginning of the year, Ms. Saylor went to a workshop at the University of Regina where she was told that they would be offering a $20,000 scholarship this year to the top student of 10 different regions in Saskatchewan and across Canada. This scholarship would be awarded to students applying for fall admission directly from high school who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents and have achieved a minimum admission average of 90% and are applying to a direct-entry undergraduate degree program. The award will be granted to the students with the highest admission average in the region that they live.  We are absolutely ecstatic to announce that the winner of that scholarship is from our school, Central Collegiate!  Please extend huge congratulations for winning $20,000 to our very own grade 12 student  Miss Jaicee Draper!
