Central Butte School

The Bulldogs had a great day at section Track.  They were thanked for taking care of the hurdles by the PA announcer.  It was nice to see all the Blue jerseys volunteering.

23 of 38 athletes qualified for Districts.

Classy Concoctions is a Junior Achievement business created by the 2012 graduating class of Central Butte School as part of our study in Entrepreneurship 30. Company members include Ryley Cozart, Sarah Wist, Brett Loeppky, Corben Miller, Larissa Kurz, Landon Schultz, Eric Yonge, Ty Langer, Gina Rehbein, Laura Sawatzky, and Andrew Berger.  The teacher advisor was Mrs. Colette Wilson.

Mathletics is a technology based Math program.  Students are able to work

at their level and practice their skills.  Check out how Seth is doing!

The students and chaperones had a great time.  Many cooperative activities

and lots of laughs will make memories forever.

Here is what Kristy had to say about our crew.

I hosted Mr. Peterson's class for their school field trip here at Shekinah

Retreat Centre. These students were the best possible group to start my

busy season! They were polite and appreciative and they were willing to

be flexible with their schedule when rain was in the forecast. It was a

pleasure to interact with them and see them "in action" at the team

development activities. They demonstrated a beautiful ability to work

together, to include everyone and to be resilient in each of these tasks.

Thanks for a great couple of days together....you guys were just great!

Classy Concoctions is the name of our Jr. Achievement company.  The students formed the company

as part of their Entrepreneurship 30 course.  The company has been very successful and the course

had proven to be a very valuable learning tool.  The students will no doubt benefit from the lessons

learned in their futures.

Barbra had this to say about the program.

 They are just wrapping up their company and will hold their final shareholders’ meeting on Monday.  They would be great ambassadors for the

program, with the success they have experienced with their beef jerky sales.  They have blown

any JA company I have ever known right out of the water!

The students and staff from Eyebrow attended the Persephone Theatre

performance and Central Butte.  The show was great and made better

use of our resources.

The students of Central Butte School had a great time learning about science and participating in the science fair.  Many great demonstrations and displays were enjoyed by a large crowd. A picture is worth a 1000 words... enjoy.
