In the words of one of our grade 8 students:
We are officially back from the Coolest School Trip ever. Had an awesome time, thanks to all who made it possible. Thank-you to Mrs. Pylatuk for being an awesome teacher and for all the time she put in to make this possible. And to Mr. Friesen and the chaperones (Mr. Wiberg Mr. Guretzki Mrs. Cochrane, Mrs. Peters)who came and kept us mostly under control, (with the exception to break a few rules to watch the hockey game) thanks for that Jess. Jk it was amazing, thanks to anyone else like the hosts, and the bus drivers who got us where we need to safely. (Mr. Adrian and Ed) It means a lot so thanks for everything!
From Mrs. Pylatuk:
Thank you Parks Canada and Canadian Geographic! And our awesome chaperones!

Our grade 8 class is participating in a Parks Canada Contest for grade 8 students. The challenge was to create a commercial or ad for Fort Louisbourg in Nova Scotia. We need to generate enough votes to place in the top 5 in order for our video to be viewed by the judges. The grand prize is an all-expense-paid trip to Nova Scotia to visit Fort Louisbourg and Cape Breton.
Could I ask you to vote for us today and as often as possible until March 22. If you could get your students to vote for us that would be awesome too!
