We hosted the SE Bantam Boys Volleyball Sectionals on Saturday, October 20.  We played against Coronach, Assiniboia Elementary School, and Rockglen.  We came in second place in the round robin, but lost the semi-final game against Rockglen.  Rockglen then went on to play Coronach, with Coronach winning the gold medal.  Both Rockglen and Coronach advance to Districts next weekend. 

     We had a very good season of volleyball this year.  Special thanks to Mr. Garnet Hoffart and Mrs. Tanya McCann for coaching the team this year, Mrs. Fieger for providing the canteen for all the home games, Miss Gauley and Mr. Berglund for being the teacher supervisors, Mrs. Welburn for driving the bus for our away games, Mrs. Kesslering for being our photographer, and Mrs. Hesjedal and Ms. Thue for supervising at our Sectionals.  We were also very grateful to have Gayleen Thomson and Katelyn Kaufmann officiate the games at Sectionals. 

      Thank you Mrs. Rood for ordering our new jerseys!  They came just in time for playoffs!

 Our school's curling team just wrapped up their season.  They defeated ACHS at Sectionals.  At Districts, they won their game against Peacock Collegiate in an extra end.  They lost to ACHS in a very close game and then lost their last game to Central Butte.  Congratulations Jessa, Levi, Alisa, and Tanner!
