Avonlea School

Congratulations to the Avonlea Bantam Boys' Volleyball Team for capturing the South Central District Championship for the second consecutive year.  The team defeated Kincaid in the final.  Also attending were Assiniboia and Mossbank.  A special thank you is extended to Mossbank for hosting the event.  The Avonlea boys should be congratulated for their great team effort as well as the excellent sportsmanship that was displayed throughout the day.    The team, coached by Mrs. Granger, consisted of Jesse Rustad, Austin Lothian, Shawn Geisler, Layton Ludwar, James Dombowsky, Dallas Funke (captain), Johnathen Jean-Marie, Michael Miller, Mark Jelinski, James Sippola, Robby Downton, David Beingessner and Jordan Jorstad.  Well done boys!
